Alta Divisione Energia operates in the field of the R&D and installation of small (up to 200 kW) cogeneration and renewable energy plants. Alta collaborates with several Italian and European companies and research centers for the development and testing of innovative energy components and plants, such as:- Cogeneration (electric power+heat) and trigeneration (electric power+heating+cooling) plants based on external combustion micro-turbines, fueled with biomass;
- Development of low-cost Stirling engines;
- Production lines of new generation photovoltaic panels;
- R&D on cryogenic storage of hydrogen for automotive applications.
Alta Divisione Energia offers design, procurement, installation, test and maintenance (turn-key) of :
- Photovoltaic plants;
- Solar cooling plants (solar thermal + absorption chiller);
- Co-generation and tri-generation plants based on natural gas fired micro-turbines (30-100 kWe);
- Hybrid plants (combined solar and micro-turbine).
